Dune2ail

    Included is a file named putgf1.exe which will patch your DUNE ][
game to work with the GUS Miles drivers.  This version replaces the
Sound Canvas midi and Sound Blaster Pro digital drivers.

Instructions:

   (1) Backup your sound.pak file in case of accidents.
   (2) Copy gf1midi.adv and gf1digi.adv to your Dune ][ directory.
   (3) Run putgf1.exe to patch the sound.pak and dune.cfg files.
   (5) Load (high) ultramid with the switches -m100 -c
   (6) Check that you still have 600K conventional memory free
   (7) Run Dune2, sit back, enjoy and "Warning : Missile Incoming" ];->

To undo changes:

    (1) Replace sound.pak with your backup copy.
    (2) Run the Dune ][ setup program.
