NEW OAK KNOLLS GOLF CLUB JNSE DESIGN BY: Gordon J. Chisholm (Prodigy ID - FHDM42A) (America Online ID - GJC1) This is a fictional course set somewhere on the western edge of the Great Plains near the Rocky Mountains. All objects on this course have been "borrowed" from other courses. My thanks to all designers who are better artists than I am. The sign show- ing the hole layout (from Scott Chesney's Banff Springs) was altered by me. The backgraound(also from Banff) fit in with my fictional setting, and I borrowed it also. Bunkers and creeks are set at a lower elevation than the surrounding terrain. The longer par 4's and par 5's have yardage marker flags set at 250 yard intervals. 250 yard markers are on the left edge of the fairway, and where necessary 500 yard markers are on the right edge of the fairway. Yard- age flags are checkered on a white post and greens flags are on candy striped sticks, so there should be no confusion if they both show up in the same view. All yardages are from the course routing with #1 pin placement. All cen- ter lines fall within the present fairways. Center lines have been slightly re- located on all holes(taking advantage of this better feature in JNSE), and all holes have had tees changed to accommadate the Championship tees that were not a part of design in JNUG. THE YARDAGES #1 557 yds. 5 #2 458 yds. 4 #3 376 yds. 4 #4 496 yds. 4 #5 170 yds. 3 #6 306 yds. 4 #7 456 yds. 4 #8 437 yds. 4 #9 424 yds. 4 OUT 3780 yds. 36 #10 421 yds. 4 #11 528 yds. 5 #12 437 yds. 4 #13 248 yds. 3 #14 458 yds. 4 #15 370 yds. 4 #16 373 yds. 4 #17 461 yds. 5 #18 589 yds. 5 IN 3885 yds. 38 TOTALS 7665 yds. 74 This course appeared in JNUG format, and the SE version is not just a simple conversion. New objects have been added to the object file, while I chose to let some of the JNUG objects remain. Names for individual holes are eliminated, and in many instances the quotes re-written because they didn't apply anymore. Most holes have had alterations made in the terrain; objects have been relocated or omitted. Objects have been changed with the Global Change feature of JNSE; and, of course, more objects placed on all holes. Any comments concerning this course may be addressed to me on Prodigy, or on America Online. Gordon Chisholm Prodigy - FHDM42A America Online - GJC1 Copyright: Gordon J.
