About the MS-DOS 6.2 Setup Help Disk

*Note: This information is repeated in the letter 
that came with your disk.

MS-DOS 6.2 Setup doesn't properly detect some
Stacker 3.1 drives. Hopefully, Microsoft will
remedy this in future releases of DOS. Meanwhile,
Stac has provided a simple solution. Use Stac's
Help disk immediately before you set up MS-DOS 6.2
and again right after MS-DOS 6.2 setup.

1.  Completely exit Windows or any other shell.
2.  Insert the MS-DOS 6.2 Setup Help Disk into
    drive A or B.
3.  At the DOS prompt, type A:BEFORE62 or
    B:BEFORE62 and press ENTER.
4.  Without restarting, set up MS-DOS 6.2.
5.  After your system restarts, insert the Setup
    Help Disk into drive A or B again and type
    A:AFTER62 or B:AFTER62 and press ENTER.

You can now use MS-DOS 6.2 with Stacker 3.1. Thank
