FAXserve Version 1.01A (Patch)

SUBJECT : Support for Intel's new SatisFAXtion 400 board (402 board).

CHANGES:
        Changes have been made to SAT.NLM to detect the new Intel 
        SatisFAXtion 400 board.

INSTALLATION:
     Step
        1- Copy the new SAT.NLM to the FAXserve host server SYSTEM directory.
        2- Then rename the SAT.NLM to FAXDRV.NLM.
        3- Copy the files DOWNLOAD.402 and LOADER.402 to the FAXserve home 
           directory (i.e. SYS:FAXSERVE\). These files should be located in 
           Intel's DISK 1 that comes with the fax board.
        4- Unload all FAXserve's NLMs by typing the following at the
           server system console.
                    UNLOAD FAXSERVE
        5- Now reload the FAXserve NLMs by typing 
                    LOAD FAXSERVE

NOTE:
   We have been experiencing some problems with the new board.  The
   following lists these problems.  We are currently working with Intel
   to resolve these problems.

        1- Some images received on the SatisFAXtion 402 board gets
           corrupted.  This occurs during both high or low resolution
           transmission.
           For these same images, if the transmission is in low resolution 
           the board seems to detect the transmission as a high resolution.
      
        2- After receiving several pages the received page count resets to
           one.

Ways of identifying the SatisFAXtion 400 board from the 402 board

1- The box containing 402 board has a time stamp of 12/10/93 on it.
2- The 402 board has a smaller speaker than the 400 board.
3- The 402 has a rectangular white capacitor that is placed parallel to the 
   length of the board.  The 400 board has the white capacitor placed 
   perpendicular to the board.
