mbedit  is a  full screen  text  editor with  macro option,  online
calculator, command history buffer and many other features.

It is available for some common operating systems as: MS-DOS, os/9,
unix.

This is  the MS-DOS shareware  version of mbedit.  It has  the same
functions as the regular version. There are no restrictions, except
the two shareware hints at the start and end of the program.

The floppy disc has the following directory structure:

Example Installation (simple recipe):

   - Insert floppy disc in drive A:

   - At the command line prompt, type:
       MKDIR C:\MBEDIT
       XCOPY /S A:\MBEDIT\*.* C:\MBEDIT

   - Edit file AUTOEXEC.BAT, append 2 lines:
       PATH C:\DOS;C:\WINDOWS;C:\MBEDIT
       SET HOME=C:\MBEDIT

  - or the complete, well documented ANSI-c source code for
    the operating systems mentioned above,  easy to port to 
    the different environments.

   - Die Floppy-Disk in Laufwerk A: einlegen

   - Auf der Kommandozeile eingeben:
