To install this update, change the current directory (using the
"CD" command) to the base pirates directory (This is usually
"C\MPS\PIRATES").  Then type EXACTLY what is shown below:

	A:UPDATE A:     or      B:UPDATE B:

   ...depending on which floppy drive you are updating from.


If you are the running 16-color version, you must fully reinstall
the entire game from the original diskettes choosing the 256-color
version.  Then install this update as above, and finally convert
the updated product to 16-color by typing "CONV".

* Game should now function on all video cards/VESA drivers.

* Forts are easier to enter in land battles.

* Captured Pirates are more likely to be purchased by families.

* Digital Sounds have been added. NOTE: When selecting digital sounds,
  make sure that you correctly select the address, IRQ, and DMA 
  channels!

* Hall of Fame scores now function properly.

* Plunder screen has been altered to make numbers easier to read.

* Accidental bumps into land are prompted with "Disembark? Y/N"

* A "Take All" button has been implemented in the plunder screen.

* Shipwright keeps track of his money.

* Wind direction when attacking town via ship matches the direction
  of wind in the main sailing screen.

* Occasional crashes when attempting to access the Captain's Cabin 
  have been fixed.

* Exit to DOS hotspot in the Captain's Cabin is prompted with "Y/N".
