   Database Software Consultants of Austin, Texas was founded in 1982 by
Publisher and Chief Software Designer T. David Millican, a Stanford-educated,
research-level computer scientist, educator, and professional writer with a
broad background in academia (pure and applied mathematics and computer
sciences), corporate computing, teaching, consulting, and book and magazine
writing.  Active in dBASE dialects since 1984, Mr. Millican helped launch R&R
Relational Report Writer with the seminal InfoWorld review in May 1987; since
then, he has published over two dozen magazine articles and product reviews in
magazines such as InfoWorld and Data Based Advisor.

   He is the author of the encyclopedic "dBASE Dialects Software Engineering,"
published by a major New York publisher called Van Nostrand Reinhold.  Wayne
Ratliff, creator of the first dBASE dialect, wrote in the book's foreword that
it is "INDISPENSABLE" and "UNIQUELY AUTHORITATIVE."

   His first software product, the dMILL All-Networks Productivity Kit for
Clipper, received a long, rave review in the May 1992 issue of Greg Lief's
Aquarium journal for Clipper programmers.  The reviewer characterized the Kit
as "INDISPENSABLE ... FOR ALL SKILL LEVELS ... AN EXCELLENT VALUE ... A
REMARKABLE ACHIEVEMENT BY A REMARKABLE PERSON!" 

   Mr. Millican coined the trademark "docusoftware" to describe
programmer-productivity products wherein documentation and software are given
equal weight in design and implementation.  Any power tool, whether it is a
