EZXWING  A replacement Mission file for TODs 1-5 of XWing.  I modified all 102 missions (Historic and TOD) in order to make them winnable by non-aces like my kids, who began to find the game boring due to its impossibility for them.  All failed missions end in rescue, rather than death or capture, but they are unlikely to be failed too often, as I have weakened all Imperial vessels and strengthened all Alliance ships.  In addition, there are no more mines.  There are numerous changes, but I've played them all, and they all work.  They are still a lot of fun, but just not so frustrating.  One of the nicest features is that, as they are based on the original missions, all of the original briefings still work, and make sense.

To install, simply replace the files in your Mission Directory with these files, or, as I did, rename or save your original Mission directory elsewhere, and place these in a new Mission directory. In this way, it takes only a renaming of a couple of files to go back to the original version.

By the way, I confirmed on the LucasArts BBS that this does not constitute copyright infringement, and they have given this file their blessing.
