Ultimate Universe help file 3.c Advanced Game Notes The Device 168 Universe Explorer Macro Wonder why we've developed this macro? Ultimately in any game you chose to play in, be it UU or TradeWars or whatever, the more information you can obtain about the game environment, the more effective a player you can become. Using this macro, we've been able to explore nearly every sector of the game universe without "physically" moving the ship. We utilize the specific way the device interacts with the game to accumulate data on nearly every sector of the universe. This allows us to effectively use the limited game time we have. The name of the device gives a clue on how we obtain the information we desire. Device 168 is the Sector Finder Pack. It is comprised of the Sector Path Finder and a Sector Path Finder Reporter. This combination of devices when used to chart a path from one sector to any destination sector displays complete information on what's in every other sector in the path chain from start to terminus. Neat way to explore the universe rapidly. Now in the macro, there is an option to select the increment of sector exploration advancement. What this is, is the number you add to the last terminus sector explored. If the number is 1, the terminus sector number advances by 1. If the number is 2, then the terminus sector number advances by 2. So forth and so on. Now, depending on how old the universe is, sectors are arrayed quasi-linearly. That is, often times sectors have links that are sequentially arrayed, sector 11 follows sector 12 for example. By utilizing this aspect, choosing the right increment can allow you to explore the universe and cover new ground on each scan.
