Between.txt - What to do and where to go between dungeons 1) After beating Tail Cave "Hey buddy! It's serious! Yeah, really serious! Yeah, it is!" the two children tell you - as it turns out, BowWow has been kidnapped by Moblins! Talk to Madam MeowMeow for details. Then begin your search for the fearsome beast. Go to F4 on the map, and enter the cave. When you enter, defeat all the Moblins until you get to the big, bad boss. Avoid his shots and stay at the oppisite side of the room. When he runs at you, get out of the way and whack him when he is dazed from hitting the wall. Now get BowWow! Now that you have him, see Madam MeowMeow, then feed him the indegestible flowers of Goponga Swamp. The Goponga Swamp Dungeon is at E3 on the map. 2) After beating Bottle Grotto Now that you have the Power Bracelet, you can explore much more of Koholint Island. It might be wise to get a potion at Crazy Tracy's Health Spa. Now talk to everyone in the village again, and prepare to go talk to Richard. His villa is located in square G14. As you travel there you may pass by the third dungeon. Richard will tell you that he was a prince, and ever since his guards went berzerk in his castle, he has had to stay in his villa. He wants you to retrieve his leaves, which are in the castle. Follow the path, going in a North Easterly direction. When you get there, go to Kiki the monkey, and give him the bananas you got from Sale. He will do some monkey business and build you a bridge. Get the stick on it and go across, enter the tunnel, and when you come out, you will be in the castle main wall! To get 2 leaves, defeat the raven, and the guard who pops out of holes and throws bombs. Inside, collect the other 3 by: Defeating all the enemies in the room with an anti- faerie, bombing the wall with guard shaped impressions on it and defeating the enemies that come out, and lastly, killing the knight will a ball and chain. To open the door the knight is behind, throw a pot at it. Now go back to Richard and he will move. Now push the box, enter the tunnel, and on the other side, when you get to the owl statue, dig where the bush is and you will get the Slime Key! Now you can open the door to the dungeon! Once it is open, you have to go around, do some island skipping, and then you can enter the dungeon. 3)After Beating Key Cavern Now that you have the Pegasus Boots, you can break all those rocks you couldn't get before. Your first goal is to now go to the Dream Shrine at Mabe Village and get the Ocarina. You can jump over the "Pillowcase Men" in the shrine or hit them with your sword. Now that you have the Ocarina, talk to Marin and learn the 'Ballad of the Wind Fish'. You can play it before you talk to her, but seeing as you don't know how to play it, you don't sound too good. Now go to the tree by the castle (mentioned in Trade.txt) and Tarin is there! Give him your stick and get the honeycomb. Now go to square K11 and enter the cave. Once you are on the other side, go to the Animal Village. Then, after you have talked to everyone (giving the honeycomb to the bear), go see the Walrus. Then go back to Mabe Village and find Marin. But she's gone! Wait, there's a note in her house. Read it and proceed to F16 (Yeah, I know, but it's a screen, not a plane). Talk to Marin and take her to the Animal Village. When Marin sings to the Walrus, he will get so happy he will jump into the bay! Now you can go to the Yarna Desert and retrieve the Fish Key from the snake dude in the cave. After you defeat him, fall down in the center and bomb the upper wall (poke first) and you will reveal a heart piece! Now go to L3 and touch the keyhole. Tada! Now you must go around and jump to the dungeon from above. Make your way from H2 to L2, and while you're going there, go in the cave and visit Papahl! He will give you a Hibiscus, which you can use to bribe...er...convince the goat at the Animal Village into talking to you. She will give you a letter to send to her "Dear Mr. Write". Do that later. Now you need to go to the Angler's Tunnel by jumping off the ledge at L2! 4) After Beating Angler's Tunnel From the Angler's Tunnel Dungeon screen, swim 1 screen left and you should see a cave. Talk to Manbo, Child of the Sun Fish. He will teach you his Mambo! This will warp you to Manbo Pond, where you can get a potion from Crazy Tracy. If you use it in a dungeon, you will warp to the entrance. This is useful if you get stuck somewhere. Now that you have the Flippers, a vast new area of Koholint Island becomes accessable. This also makes travel across the bay much quicker. See the trade list, and by now you can get the Mermaid's Scale. It would be wise to buy the bow now, as you should have enough cash. After a while of walking (swimming) around, it seems that a ghost is following you! And it won't go away! What do you do? After it follows you for a while, it moans out these words: "...the house... ...take me... ...the house... ...at the bay..." The ghost needs you to take it to it's old house, the one located in square G16. Once you get there, the ghost will ask you to take him inside. After he looks around his old house, unchanged by the years, he has had enough. Take him to his grave, the grave in square E7. He will thank you, bid you farewell, then tell you to look in his house, look inside for a jar. He means to return to his old house, and lift the pots. Under one he has left you a shell for your good deed. Now your friend, the Owl, tells you to go to the 5th dungeon, the Catfish's Maw, in the Bay. Now you must go into the Catfish. 5) After Beating Catfish's Maw Now that you have the hookshot, you can visit the Mermaid Statue and replace the scale to reveal the tunnel. Your next objective is to go to the Face Shrine Area (L10 to be exact) where you can see a small island. go right a couple screens and you should see a path leading south. Go there and you will find a small structure. Defeat the Armos Knight by firing arrows at it. Now you have the Face Key. Go up a screen, light the lamp, and read the inscription on the wall. You will learn some disturbing information about the Wind Fish and Koholint Island. Now you can go to L10, bump the statue, then enter in the tunnel. When you get to the other side, go up to the keyhole and open the Face Shrine dungeon. Now you must go in the 6th dungeon. 6) After Beating Face Shrine If you don't have all three songs yet, go to E12. Jump over the pit, and make your way through Signpost Maze. You have to read each sign in the exact order to win the prize. The first one is in E13. It may seem difficult, but when the sign tells you to go a direction, the next sign will be either 1 square away from a direct path from your current position, or direcly in your path. Once you have finished (it might seem like forever), a tunnel opens in the swamp! Enter, and pay Manu to sing for you. It's not much of a song, but you will need it to complete the game. Now go to Mabe Village and push the bird statue with the title "Here Sleeps The Flying Rooster" to reveal a tunnel. Play Mamu's song of soul to revive the rooster! Now if you hold him over your head, you can fly! Now you can fly over the holes to the left of Kanalet Main Gate to enter the tunnel and get the Secret SeaShell! Now make your way to the Tal Tal Mountian Range. Now go to K1, enter the cave on the right, and retrieve the Bird Key. Now you can go to O1 and enter the Eagle's Tower!
