TERMS & CONDITIONS:
                            -------------------

	The following Terms & Conditions are for the purpose of protecting
the rights of each individual sysop's association with SCOTTNET mail network
and for the purpose of protecting SCOTTNET members as a whole and SCOTTSDALE
BBS specifically from the actions of any participating system Sysop.

    	The System Operator, hereafter referred to as Sysop, of each
participating system in SCOTTNET agrees to the following Terms & Conditions
as a prerequisite to the use of .qwk compatible *REGISTERED* software in
conjunction with other participating systems of SCOTTNET.

    	The term participating system is any System/Sysop that agrees to
these Terms & Conditions as indicated by the signature at the end of the
Terms & Conditions.

    a.	Each Sysop is voluntarily participating in SCOTTNET.

    b.  Each Sysop voluntarily & independently determines which of the Forums
        are included from his or her participating system.

    c.	Each Sysop retains the full right and privilege to eliminate, or not
        include, messages from any other participating system without any
        limitation or justification, or any SCOTTNET Forum that the
        individual Sysop chooses not to participate in.

    d.  Any Sysop that is routinely not including messages from another
        participating system is required to provide notification of such
        action to the SCOTTNET Admin Forum on SCOTTSDALE BBS.
        	
    e.  Each sysop agrees to download and view the contents of the
        distributed messages from the SCOTTNET Netmail Admin Forum on a daily
        basis or as soon as possible if any day is missed due to the absence
        of the Sysop.

    f.  Each Sysop agrees to never distribute of make available the contents
        of messages contained in the SCOTTNET admin Forum of SCOTTSDALE BBS
        or any messages collected from inclusion into the SCOTTNET admin
        Forum of SCOTTSDALE BBS without approval from the Sysop of SCOTTSDALE
        BBS and notification of any other Sysop of a participating system that
        is directly involved or identified in the message.

    g.  Each system agrees to notify SCOTTNET, via the SCOTTNET admin Forum on
        SCOTTSDALE BBS, of any intended distribution of messages provided by
        other participating systems of SCOTTNET before any distribution takes
        place.  Furthermore, the distribution of messages outside of the
        participating systems of SCOTTNET is strictly prohibited by the other
        Sysops of SCOTTNET without permission.  Permission will not normally
        be withheld as it is the express intention of SCOTTNET to provide as
        wide a base as possible for the SCOTTNET mail system.

    h.  Each Sysop retains full rights and privileges to engage in other
        network mail activities, providing that the messages included in such
        a relationship are not messages from other SCOTTNET participating
        systems, without prior approval.  If messages are included from other
        participating systems, prior approval must be obtained from the
        systems that are the originators of the messages.

    i.  Each Sysop retains full rights and privileges to withdraw from any
        association with SCOTTNET providing that notice is provided in writing
        to SCOTTSDALE BBS by means of the Canadian/US postal system or by
        electronic mail on SCOTTSDALE BBS at the specified address for the
        SCOTTSDALE BBS system prior to the withdrawal and stating the
        effective date of such action.

    j.  Each Sysop agrees to eliminate or protect (by making the messages
        private) any messages that are not suitable for viewing by the
        general public, including minors that may have access to other
        participating systems.

    k.  Any system desiring to redistribute to others agrees to carry all
        Forums currently offered as part of the SCOTTNET mail network system.
        Any regional system agrees to enforce this set of policies with all
        systems accessing them.

    I, the undersigned, am the System Operator, Sysop, of the specified
bulletin board system (BBS), and I agree to abide by ALL of the above listed
Terms and Conditions prior to participation in SCOTTNET.

    I have read all of the sections of this document and agree to abide by
any of the other requirements stated in the distribution notice, the Policy
for Expulsion of a Participating System from SCOTTNET, and other provisions
that are subsequently adopted by a majority of the Sysops of Participating
Systems.

    Furthermore, I agree to provide expedient notification to SCOTTSDALE BBS,
via the SCOTTNET admin Forum, of any violation(s) of the above Terms and
Conditions for which I become aware or have any direct knowledge.
