I recorded this WAV file from the ``Cause and Effect'' episode
of Star Trek: The Next Generation.

One way to hear it is to use OS/2's Digital Audio MMPM/2 applet.

Actually, there are two WAV files, each packaged separately.  The long
one (ABANDON1.WAV) lasts for 1 minute, 30 seconds.  It starts when the
Enterprise lost power, she collides with the USS Boseman, and then she
explodes.  The shorter one (ABANDON2.WAV) starts just before the
Enterprise explodes, and lasts for 10 seconds.
