Installation of OS/2 WPS Integration Tools from OS2TLS.ZIP


Note-
THESE FILES MUST BE INSTALLED FROM YOUR HARD DRIVE!!!
This installation is slightly different from what is mentioned in the README.OS2.


Install
1.  We recommend you unzip OS2TLS.ZIP in a separate directory, (ex. C:\OS2TLS; C:\TEMP),
on your Hard Drive.

2. Make sure no application that uses WordPerfect shared code is running while installing
(Including QuickLaunch).

3.  From the OS/2 Prompt, run the SETUPOS2.EXE and follow the prompts.  This must be done
from your Hard Drive, do not run this from a Floppy diskette.


When SETUPOS2.EXE has finished running, you will be asked to reboot. 
NOTE: You may experience some small delay as your system boots up for the first time after
installation because some parts of the install process are performed after you reboot.

 The installation process will ask if you wish to have the QuickLaunch object installed. This
option is provided for users who want the common seamless Win-OS/2 session to start
automatically every time their system reboots.

When this Win-OS/2 session starts automatically, it significantly reduces the start time for the
other Windows applications you run in seamless mode.

Installing over WP5.2 for OS/2
This Install program will not install directly over WP5.2 for OS/2--you will receive an error
message from the Install program if you attempt to do this.  For more information on installing
the OS/2 WPS Integration Tools, refer to the README.OS2 under "Installing over WP5.2 for
OS/2"
