The software may be used by any number of people and may freely be moved from one computer to another, so long as there is NO POSSIBILITY that it is being used to develop programs by more than one person at one time. The only exception is that you may make backup copies of the software to protect your investment from loss. Warranty -------- The physical diskette (if any) is warranted to be free from material defects in workmanship for a period of 30 days from the date of purchase. In the event of notification within the warranty period of defects in material or workmanship, I will replace the defective diskette. The remedy for breach of this warranty shall be limited to replacement and shall not encompass any other damages, including but not limited to loss of profit, special, incidental, consequential, or other similar claims. Governing Law ------------- This Statement shall be construed, interpreted, and governed by the laws of the state of Kansas. Distribution and Royalties -------------------------- The shareware version of LANLIB is provided for evaluation purposes only; you are NOT free to distribute programs created with it. There are no royalties on programs you develop with the registered version of LANLIB. While not a requirement, I would consider it a great courtesy if you would send me a copy of any programs you finish that use LANLIB, or at least notify me of such program's existence, so I can keep track of how LANLIB is being used, which will help with future development. Tech Support ------------ Tech support is provided by me, the author, via CIS E-mail, Internet E-mail, or "snail mail." I'll respond to queries in about 24 hours. Returns ------- The shareware version of LANLIB is very nearly the same as the registered version; the only difference is that the registered version includes the ipxRouteFind() procedure; you should easily be able to evaluate LANLIB's fitness to a particular purpose before you buy. Therefore all sales are final. Upgrades and bug fixes ---------------------- If you discover a bug in LANLIB, I'll gladly fix it and send you the fixed version for free (if you're a registered owner). An exception will be if the problem relates to trouble finding all networks on very large LANs with more than 300 segments or networks that include routers that don't respond to standard NetWare diagnostics; both types of networks are not fully supported. Version upgrades will be at minimal cost, the exact price to be determined when and if such upgrades become available.
