This file contains information to be used in case you want to press THE EDOS PANIC BUTTON !!!! If for any reason Windows Will not load after EDOS is installed. There is a switch in system.ini. The switch is: "EDOSDisable". The default is EDOSDisable=0. If you change this to: EDOSDisable=1, then EDOS will NOT LOAD. NO OTHER action is necessary to keep EDOS from loading. The change can be made with any plain ascii text editor. DOS Edit can be used. Be sure to try rebooting DOS and then Windows at least once, if Windows failes to reboot after installing EDOS. OR... Attempt to load Windows using the /B switch. This switch causes a bootlog.txt file to be created. It will contain lines that show how far Windows got before blowing up. Make sure your config.sys files has FILES=40 or more. If you are using Super VGA display drivers and Windows will not load, or DOS sessions will not start, or they will start but do not work correctly, THEN try changing the display drivers to use the STOCK VGA or STOCK SVGA drivers that Microsoft Provides. If the oversize sessions 704K or 736K or the DOSMEM commands will not work to expand an 640K session, see oversize.txt file for help. For Tech Support call 503-694-2221
