INSTALLATION NOTES

Upon initial boot-up of Private EyeD, you will be prompted to select the port
upon which your modem resides.  In addition to this, you must select the
appropriate modem from the Modem Type list box.  Obviously, these are critical
settings.  If you do not see your modem listed, you can configure it using the
Custom Modem feature.  Refer to the help file topic "Custom Modems" and
"Configuration" for more information.

We are in the process of building a database of the various Caller ID modems
and the appropriate settings for each.  If your modem is not listed in the
Modem Type list box, then you may not have the most recent MODEMS.MDG file.
You can find this file on Compuserve in the Winshare forum (GO WINSHARE) and
various modem vendor forums.  See help file topic "Configuration" for more
