Tell your friends to meet you in the WANGO mission lobby and teamup for battle together. Or invite your enemies to meet you on Phobos or a WAD of your choice for game of no-monster, respawning deathmatch!!! Or show at up the lobby and see WHO's there and start a TEAM. This is the "client" software that allows you to connect to the game server WANGO. Before you will be able to dial the server you must check the DWANGO.CFG file, making sure the patameters match your computers setup! PUT ALL THE DWANGO FILES IN THE SAME DIRECTORY AS DOOM !!!. DWANGO passes data thru phone lines allowing up to 4 players to share a game of DOOM. There is a signup/software fee of -$20.00-. You will be billed for your usage at a rate of -$4.00/hr-,in 15 min. intervals. YOU MUST HAVE A VALID CREDIT CARD TO USE WANGO The procedure for using DWANGO is simple: If you are a new player type "new" under user id to fill out registration and credit card info. Current users type in user and password info. KEEP YOUR PASSWORD CONFIDENTIAL Once you are logged in your cursor says "lobby >". This is the area where you can see WHO else is in the lobby, TELL to one person or a TEAM, SAY to everyone, look at the various TEAMs available and see who has already joined them. Even if the person you are TELLing to is not in the lobby, the WANGO server will deliver the message when they arrive. Before you can start your DOOM session you must either JOIN an existing team or CREATE a new one. When you create a new team you are automatically joined. When all the players on a team are ready to begin one of the team members type PLAY, and away you go. WANGO passes all the necessary parameters to your machines initating DOOM with your various choices. You can leave messages for us by TELLing to IVS from the "lobby" ENJOY !!!!!
