The cars contained in this file are representative of all the cars we
wished there had been in the original release.  While the Taco Bell and
the Hooters car, for example, would have been something you would have
normally found in a game like this.  On the other hand, the Jurrasic 
Park car, the Spawn car, the Mortal Kombat II car, the Star Wars car,
the Origin Software car, and the MegaDeth car would NOT have been
included.  But we liked them, and so we took TREMENDOUS amounts of
time in creating them.  The car currently being driven is the Repeat
Offender/Metallica car.  I (Mark Lake AKA \_\_\ILDGOOSE) drew it.

To install the new cars, just make a new directory out of the
x:\INDYCAR\CARS directory.  Name it BESTCARS, and unzip the contents
of this zipfile into it.  

ATTENTION:  This will only work with version 1.4 or higher of INDYCAR
RACING from Papyrus.  You can get a patch for up to version 1.5 from 
them.

Metallica/Repeat Offender drawn by Mark Lake.  Metallica is a
trademark, and the greatest metal band that has ever existed.

Star Wars car drawn by Una Kim.  Star Wars was created by George Lucas.
It is much better than 'Star Truck'.

Jurrasic Park car drawn by Una Kim.  Jurrasic park was written by
Michael Crichton, and the movie was done by Steven Speilburg.

Hooters car drawn by Mark Lake.  Hooters is the best restauraunt around
when you have enough money to pay for it.  If not, go to Taco Bell.

Spawn car drawn by Una Kim.  Spawn is a trademark of Image Comics and
drawn by Todd McFarlane.  Spawn could kill any other 'super'hero in a
heartbeat.

Origin car drawn both by Mark Lake and Una Kim.  Origin makes, by far,
the best adventure and simulation games.  Except for driving sims, where
Papyrus is still king.  Origin is a trademark of Origin, and was started
by Richard Garriot, AKA Lord British.  It was swallowed up by Electronic
Arts, but still has autonomy.

Mortal Kombat II car drawn by Una Kim.  Mortal Kombat is a trademark
of Midway Games.  It was created by Ed Boon and John Tobias, and kicks
Street Fighter II's ass.  

Megadeth car drawn by Mark Lake.  Megadeth is another great metal band,
only surpassed in quality by Metallica.  Lead singer is Dave Mustaine,
that's why he is driving.

Dazed and Confused car (AKA Hashmobile) drawn by Mark Lake.  If you
havn't seen Dazed and Confused, do.  It is one of the greatest movies
of all time.  It's about the 70's, and I enjoyed it (even though I can 
hardly remember them, I lived through them in diapers and training wheels)
very much.  It is driven by Slater, the best character in the movie.

We (me, Mark, and Una, my friend) are what you call 'starving college
artist student persons'.  I don't ask for money for these designs, (mainly
because I don't want the companies representing the designs to get on
my back about it) so all I ask is that you at least send me some mail
saying how much you liked (or disliked) the designs.  Also, you can 
request a design, and if I (or Una) can, we can draw it out for you.
