FLASH killing the BOSS!

This is a relatively safe attack mode and involves positioning
your ship just behind a corner wall so that the wall is
protecting you from the enemy but you are far enough out so that
one of your laser canons shoots past the wall and can hit your
target. Your enemy sees only the "FLASH" of your laser and is 
soon destroyed. Your other laser simply fires into the wall next
to you.

I call this the FLASH method for killing bots and surprisingly
enough it even works on the level 7 BOSS.

This is a demo illustrates a FLASH kill of the level 7 BOSS. What
makes this approach different is that it requires less skill than
most other methods. The general premise is forget about every
thing but the BOSS. Kill him and your home free. As you will see
in the demo, no other kills were made. All the other bots were
still around after the kill but you can just ignore them and fly
to the exit.

No missiles were used either. Only a level four quad laser. When
executed properly, only a very minimal amount of shields are
needed to make it to the exit.

There is not much style here, but if your mission is to make it
to level 8 without cheats this can do it.

Lastly, if you are not able to kill the BOSS from the doorway,
you may be able to substantially weaken him using the FLASH
method thus making for a much fairer fight out in the open.
