DROIDS 1.1

For use with LucasArt's Dark Forces.

This is a file of 3do droids I have developed for use in Dark Forces add on Levels.  These Droids may be used in any level as long as you proper give credit for their development.  I will be making more droids in the near future and adding them to the group.  currently there are Three droids and a Tatooine Moisture evaporator.

R2DROID2.3DO & R2DROID1.3DO:  The Body of an R2 Astromech. Droid similar to any R2 Droid in the Starwars Saga.  I would have liked to have added more detail but there is an incompatibility between texturing and Gouraud shading.  I opted for Gouraud shading to make him look rounded and add the detailing in the way of attaching colored polygons.  Due to memory concerns I kept the polygons for the body to 102.  set RADIUS:  2 and HEIGHT: 5 in the .o file

R2HEAD2.3DO & R2HEAD1.3DO:  The R2 Astromech Droids Head.  Place the head in the .o file at the exact same point as the body.  It can be made to rotate as well by adding the LOGIC: UPDATE line to it.  also add D_YAW: xx, where xx is the speed at which you want it to turn.  Head2 is designed to look similar to the head of the R2 Droid that blew a motivator while being purchased by Luke's Uncle from the Jawas. Head1 is designed to look like R2D2.  For the perverse minded you can also give the head the LOGIC:  BARREL  and you will be able to blow his head off.....just don't be standing too close when you do.

TATOINDR.3DO:  This droid is modeled after the droid working around the moisture evaporators on Uncle Owens Farm.  You only see him for a couple seconds when Luke is looking for the runaway R2D2.  Give this droid the LOGIC:  MOUSEBOT line.

EVAP.3DO: A Tatooine Moisture Evaporator I designed for use in Operation Tatooine.
