If you are interested in requesting CancerNet statements or news articles in Spanish, it is suggested that you request an updated Contents List. If you are redistributing the PDQ information you retrieve from CancerNet to others at your location, or are interested in redistributing the information from CancerNet, request the news article, Redistribution of Cancernet (cn-400030) , to find out about conditions that apply when redistributing the information. Grateful Med is produced by the National Library of Medicine to make it easier to search medical databases, including MEDLINE. Using this software you can search for medical information against all the major medical journals. There are also databases you can search for information on various drugs, toxic substances, AIDS Research, and so on. You can search by any search string you want, including standard medical terms, use boolean operators in your search commands, and you can limit your search to specific years or even months. The GFULMED mailing list is for discussing issues related to this software. It is not for requesting searches or for getting medical advice. If you have a need for medical information, please contact your physician or your local library. Some communities also operate a public health library. Archives of GFULMED mail items are kept in monthly files. The list is also available in a digest format; the digestified mail is sent out once a week. You may obtain a list of files in the archives by sending the command in the BODY of e-mail to LISTSERV@VM1.NODAK.EDU: INDEX GFULMED To subscribe, send the following command in the BODY of mail to LISTSERV@VM1.NODAK.EDU: SUB GFULMED yourfirstname yourlastname For example: SUB GFULMED Doctor Who To set your subscription to digest mode, send the following command in the BODY of e-mail to LISTSERV@VM1.NODAK.EDU: set gfulmed mail digest Owner: Kevin Sinclair -- \ __________________________________________________________________ / \ = Kevin J. When looked at in conjunction with other single case studies though, it is possible to draw vital conclusions from the information gathered. These are some of the reasons why Neurocase is being launched in April 1995 by Oxford University Press. Neurocase will publish high quality original case studies, as well as carefully vetted replication studies. These will be entered, together with data from case studies published elsewhere, into an accumulative CD-ROM database which will be issued with the journal. By publishing in this way, information from these reports will become an accessible and manageable body of knowledge. By publishing in Neurocase you will reach a huge audience right from the start - throughout 1995 we will be sending Neurocase free of charge to the thousands of institutions worldwide which subscribe to Brain.
