It will take into account the important diverse issues such as: Gaining approval of admission criterias, which allows access to all members of society without prejudice to sex, age, religion, social, cultural, sexual choice and medical condition; Social and legislative issues in regard to H.I.V./AIDS and those groups who are most likely to be affected; Identification of staff attitudes and values in regards to H.I.V./AIDS; Assessment of staff knowledge base of H.I.V./AIDS; The admission of the first person living with AIDS and resultant emotional problems which arose. How these were addressed and overcome; Nursing of the varied accompanying infections which arise when someone is immuno suppressed and the fear of what if? These issues will be expanded upon and solutions and outcomes suggested.
