     Hello and welcome to the exciting world of IVnet!  IVnet was established
on April 1, 1995.  What makes IVnet different is that fessionalism and
quality come first.  IVnet is affiliated with Intuitive Vision Software
based in Chicago, IL.
                                                                                                                                     
     The purpose for creating IVnet was simple.  We believe that an echomail
network would be the best way to communicate with users of IVsoft's products.
IVnet has grown into a well rounded mail network which covers many topics.
                                                                                                                                                                                           
We believe IVnet will become one of the most fun and exciting activities
found on your BBS!  There are many netmail networks out there that somehow
leave you feeling humiliated.  From the obnoxious and the primadanas to the
Hubs that don't care enough about their supporting Nodes.  Without the
necessary support, setting up and maintaining a echomail system can be a
frustrating task.  We, however, care about each and every participating BBS,
whether they are a Node, Hub, or a State Host!                                                                                                                                                             
                                                        
     We use Fido Style mail software to move our mail.  By using this
standard we can supports many BBS packages.
                                                        
     IVnet has many different types of BBS systems in our network.  As a
result, we have a diverse group of SysOps that make up IVnet.  IVnet does
NOT charge ANY fees!  IVnet is a not-for-profit network.  For a complete

You may file request (FREQ) IVNET from (411:411/0) for the latest information
package.

To apply for node status please run IVNET.EXE.  IVNET.EXE will create a
text file called IVNET.APP.  This text should be imported into a NETMAIL
message to 411:411/0.
