Welcome to the WINDOWS Magazine Version Browser v1.3! (c) 1993-1995 WINDOWS Magazine This program allows you to examine the various executable files on your hard disk, and see the "hidden" version information contained within many of them. Depending on the file, you may be able to tell who wrote it, when, and why. To display the information about a single file, just select that file then double-click on the file's name. To print information about all files in a particular directory, select that directory then select "Print..." from the Browser's File menu. NOTE: Not all executable files contain version information. A few executable files contain the full complement of version information, most contain some version information, and a few contain no version information at all. This is the program described the "Power Windows" columns of the December, 1993, January, 1994, regular issues, and the June 20, 1995 special "World Class Tune-Up" special issue, of WINDOWS Magazine.
