ÚÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄ¿ ³ The [W]rite Command ³ ÀÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÙ The [W]rite command is used to send a message to someone. There are 2 commonly used methods for doing this. The first method is used to send someone a message that will eventually logon to THIS system and read it. The second method is to send someone a message that will be receiving it on ANOTHER system in a totally seperate physical location. To send someone a message that is to be received locally, you simply choose the [W]rite command. You will then be prompted as to which area to write the message to. After selecting the area desired, you are then asked for the receiver's name. Enter that EXACTLY as the receiver enters it when he/she normally calls. You then enter the subject of the message, then the message is entered. Depending on the editor you selected, you will now exit the message and SAVE it to disk. If you are using the FULL SCREEN editor, press [ESC] and then S to save it. There is a variety of other commands in the tiny menu located there. To send a message via NETMAIL, you would have to enter the address info along with the rest of the normal information as you would in the first approach.
