Welcome to Font View & Print! V1.0 1995 Copyright, Cyber-Zone, Inc. This program has been tested and runs under Win3.1 and Win95. This program is considered Shareware until registered. Registered version may not be copied other than for backup purposes. Registered version may NOT be re-distributed! [PLEASE SEE WARRANTY DISCLAIMER AT END OF THIS DOCUMENTS.] If you've already tried the program, I'm very sorry about the "NAG SCREEN", but I've got to try some way to get you to register. If you haven't tried the program yet...well let's just say your in for a surprise. Well anyway Welcome to Font View & Print!. Hopefully you'll find this program useful to you and hopefully you'll register it!! What this program will do is show a list of all your TrueType and Adobe fonts and let you view and print them selectively. What's different with this program is that it let's you print all the fonts you select from the list and its prints them first with the font's name and then the text you wish to print or a short alphabetical and numerical list. Whether it be 2, 10 or all your fonts you can print them and use the print out as a type book. Not just in one size either, from 8 point to 72 point you can print it. If you don't understand what I mean (I know I can't write worth a bean), just try it out. And don't forget to give a copy (OF THE UNREGISTERED VERSION) to your friends. [Installation] Under Program Manager in Win3.1, Click File, Run and type in: "c:\wherever you unzipped the file\setup.exe" where 'c:\wherever you unzipped the file' is the directory where you unzipped the file. Under Win95, Click Start, Run and type in the above example again changing the diectory to where you unzipped the file. Then follow the on screen instructions. [Instruction] This part is gonna be short. Start the program by clicking on the Icon in Win 3.1 or going to the Font View and Print listing under Win95. Then fool around because it kinda easy to use. If you need help click on the Help in the menu and scroll to Help Contents. Told you it would be short. [Ordering (my general begging for money)] Now if your reading this section your either very curious or you've seen the nag screen. Really I'm sorry about that. You can register a couple of different ways: 1) Print the order form in this readme file and fill it out; 2) Fill out the order form while running the program by Clicking Help on the menu and then clicking Order Form. Then fill out the order form. After it prints follow the instructions. 3) You can register on Compuserve just GO SWREG to register on-line and the Registration number for Font View & Print! is '8655' After you register, we'll send you a registration key for you to enter in the Registartion section of the program. After that you'll get a NAG SCREEN NO MORE!!! YAY!!! You'll also receive free updates to the program (updates NOT UPGRADES, updates will have an extension such as 1.0a or 1.1 etc. Upgrades will have a new whole number beginning such as 2.0 or 2.1 or Font View & Print!95). Upgrades will be cheaper for those already registered though. Hopefully a 32bit version for Win95 should be available soon also if at all, it all depends on if I actually get some registrations. The 32bit version WILL BE considered an UPGRADE. Again though, hopefully I'll get some registrations and actually make updates and upgrades. Just being honest. Be sure to send us the 5 digit Code listed in the Code box when you click Help and then Click Registration. If you fill out the Order Form in the program, the code will be printed along with your order form so you just have to mail it, with your payment that is. It's been tested on a few computers ranging from a 486/33 with 90 fonts to a Pentium 120 with 800+ fonts. The only problem I can forsee is running low on system resources since the more fonts you have, the more system resources are used for them. If you run low, try shutting down some programs (if you are running more than one), and see if that clears up any problems. If it doesn't, well I'm sorry I don't know what'll be wrong, so you're best off not registering. Also Font View & Print! may indicate that you have less fonts that you believe. This is caused by the fact that the program won't list fonts which cannot be printed such as screen fonts (ex. MS San Serif). And it doesn't list all the variations of the fonts. Such as: when you list your fonts you may see (as an example): Arial Arial Bold Arial Italic Arial Bold Italic Font View & Print will only list the main font which would be Arial, you can see what the other fonts look like by clicking on Bold and/or Italic and it will be displayed in the Font Display. Or if you leave Bold and/or Italic checked then it will print them that way too. Thnksa.....I mean Thanks. [DISCLAIMER] CYBER-ZONE, INC.
