CBCOUNT is a WIN32 program, so you must be running Windows 95 or NT to use it!

Files you now have:

CBCOUNT.TXT   the file you are reading
CBCOUNT.EXE   the CBCOUNT program

The program CBCOUNT scans a ChesBase data file and produces a report
listing the players represented in the file and the number of games played
by each player.

To run, type CBCOUNT file.cbf [count]

For example:

CBCOUNT mainbase.cbf 100

will produce a list of the top 100 players in mainbase.cbf.
For a file of recent games, this might look something like this:
