The Destruction of Vorezh Scenario for Steel Panthers game by SSI

Please note that this scenario is designed to be played as
the German player.

This is a large scale battle with alot of street fighting. As
the German player you really have to watch your step. Be aware,
the Soviet units are not the cowardly soldiers you may be used to;
they will defend and counterattack like motivated disciplined
soldiers. The availability of artillery to both sides as well as
the large number of German bombers will assure the end result
promised in the scenario title.

Scenarios Tips

1. Be careful how you move your units in the city! Assume that
   every building has a Soviet squad in it. Use your infantry
   to spot and pin enemy units and then your support armor to blast
   them loose. Never move your precious armor into unfamiliar territory.

2. Use your artillery generously. Even if you don't have line of
   sight you can rain down shells in areas far from your own troops
   to soften up any defenders there. If you see any concentrations
   of infantry or armor, call in the bombers - they will turn entire
   blocks into rubble.

3. Your southern units are there to punch through the thin lines and
   enter the city from the east. When they reach the city they will
   be invaluable in helping clear out defenders. Therefore, don't
   rush them too hard or they won't live long enough to make a difference.
