These release notes cover what is new in the VirusScan 2.3.0 Beta 1 
release of VirusScan for DOS and VirusScan for Windows and the 
purpose of this beta.

New features for VirusScan 2.3.0:

MACRO VIRUS REMOVER!!!!!!!

Specifically, removers for Concept and Nuclear are included in this
beta.  To activate the remover like any other virus remover, one would
make use of the /CLEAN parameter.

The world of Microsoft Word documents is large and varied and somewhat
mysterious.  We have tested this version in-house and with a small number
of key sites.  We feel it is ready to be exposed to the variety of users
and their Word documents that exists in the "real world."

Please present quality assessments to stana@mcafee.com.

We encourage you to copy your Concept infected documents to a separate 
directory before applying this remover.

Known problems:

DOC files > 1 meg have sometimes not been successfully removed.
