AVAST: Memory resident scanner
Does not check files when they are copied. Our current technology makes it
possible to test even memory resident scanners, which do not check files when
they are copied. However when analysis started this was not possible.

CENTRAL POINT ANTI-VIRUS: Windows version
Virus Research Unit had no update file for Windows version of Central Point.

CENTRAL POINT ANTI-VIRUS: NLM Version
Virus Research Unit has no license of the NLM version.

MICROSOFT ANTI-VIRUS, Windows version
Windows version does not seem to create a log file.

NORTON ANTIVIRUS: NLM version
Could not be tested, because when using workstation version of Norton
Antivirus for Netware to read log file, computer either hanged, caused EMM386
error or DOS prompt appeared. This was tried several times with two different
PC's and with several different settings.

NORMAN DATA DEFENCE SYSTEMS: NVC.SYS behavior blocker
Our current technology makes it possible to analyse even behavior blockers.
However when analysis started this was not possible.

MCAFEE SCAN: Netware version
Could not be loaded even with help of patches available from ftp.mcafee.com
Reason for this may be Virus Research Unit's old version of NLM netware.

MCAFEE SCAN: OS/2 version
Could not be tested because McAfee Association's OS/2 version does not work
with OS/2 version 1.3

INOCULAN: Windows version
Could not be tested, because could not create large enough log file.
However seemed to detect same number of viruses than DOS-version.

THUNDERBYTE ANTIVIRUS: NLM version
Could not be tested because of defective diskette.

VET: Memory resident scanner
