Because of its simplicity, InstallGuard does not include
a custom setup program. However it is important that the
various program files are placed in the correct directories
for the program to operate correctly.

To install the program, simply select and create a directory
where all of the files in the archive should be copied. The
only file which requires special attention is the one called
CTL3DV2.DLL as explained below.

InstallGuard uses the Microsoft 3D dialogs DLL which is
included in the archive as the file CTL3DV2.DLL. It is
very likely that you already have this file on your system
installed in the WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory. If not, MOVE
the supplied copy to your system directory. Either way,
make sure that the copy in the InstallGuard home directory
is removed, otherwise the 3D functions will not work.

Also note that if your system already has a file called
CTL3D.DLL you MUST NOT touch that file as it will be used
by other programs.
