KP Typing Tutor International Generation 4.0 Advance Tips for Users One of the advantages of KP compared to other typing tutors is that KP provides alternative courses and text samples, and convenient ways for you add your favourite course or text samples to the KP system. Here is the descriptions of those samples text files supplied with this typing tutor package. kp.txt some office and scientific text kpcourse.txt A course file for QWERTY keyboard. course2.txt A longer version of ãkpcourse.txtä. course3.txt A course with style different from the above coursed.txt A course for Dvorak keyboard The default course using "kpcourse.txt" is shorter. This is based on the assumption that most of the learners that can use a computer are very familiar with the keyboard in various degrees, some can even type fairly fast but only can not touch type. You might choose a course much shorter or longer according to the situations of you or your students. If you happen to be a network manager of a windows environment, you might produce several program icons to start various ã*.batä files that indicate various practice styles. Please notice that Ms-window contain a Dvorak keyboard driver, you must install it previously. Some vendors also provides the Dvorak keyboard driver for DOS environment. KP provides two keyboard template styles each for the UK keyboard and the US keyboard. If you want to modify the color of the keyboard template, please refer to document "readme.2nd". If none of the keyboards template files listed support the keyboards in your country, you are encouraged to produce one. For more details, please read "readme3.txt".
