Program's call ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ with or without parameters Requirements ~~~~~~~~~~~~ - Operating system DOS version 3.3 or higher - CD drive(s) IDE or SCSI - MSCDEX.EXE version 2.10 or higher Usage ~~~~~ The program CDPlay can be used for playing audio tracks. Program's call without parameters ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The program uses the CD drive, which is found first, by default. If this CD drive is occupied with playing an audio track, the action will be continued and the corresponding information is given. If there is no CD inserted, the program waits till a CD is inserted or the program is interupted. If there is a CD inserted and the drive is not busy, the program will start playing audio track by starting with the first track. Program's call with parameters ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ If a parameter is a number, this number will be interpretted as track number. If there are more numbers, the last number will be taken. By that the specified track will be played immediately if a CD is inserted. If there are drive letters as parameters, the last of them will specify the CD drive the program uses. Status information ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Track: 13, Index: 1, 0:25, 36:52 or no CD inserted The first time is corresponding with the current track, the second with the CD as a whole. Keyboard definition ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ End of program next track next track last track beginning (If the first 2 seconds of the tracks were last track beginning not played yet the program continues with the previous track.) skip 10 seconds forward skip 10 seconds backward Installation ~~~~~~~~~~~~ The files CDPLAY.EXE a n d CDPLAY.TXT have to be copied in a directory which should be specified in the environment variable "PATH". It is advisable to install the program CDPause, as well. Licence conditions ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ It is only allowed to use and copy the files CDPLAY.EXE and CDPLAY.TXT if it can be made sure that both files are together in one directory. The program CDPLAY.EXE is FREEWARE. There is no warranty for the correct functionality of the program. The use is on own risk.
