             ISDN CAPI 1.1 based Answering Machine for OS/2
                 Version 0.12 ALPHA (January 1st 1996)




  Introduction:
  ~~~~~~~~~~~~
   We developed CapiTel because OS/2 needed a CAPI 1.1 based answering
   machine. It worked very well for our personal use, therefore the time
   has come to release it to the public. Please do not forget that this
   is an alpha version and that it has only been tested with the ELSA OS/2
   CAPI driver. If you have problems of any kind, contact us and we will
   fix them!


  Usage:
  ~~~~~
   CapiTel.EXE <op> <delay> <eaz list>

   <op>       : 'a' - Answering Mode
                'r' - Record Welcome-Text

   <delay>    : Delay in seconds till answer

   <eaz list> : All served EAZ's, seperated by spaces.


  Record Welcome-Text:
  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
   You can record your own welcome-text instead of using the default one.
   Just start CapiTel with the 'a' option, a delay of 1 second and the
   appropiate EAZ. Now call yourself by phone and say your welcome text.
   A BEEP will be automatically appended to your text.


  Answering Mode:
  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
   The answering mode can be selected by the 'a' option. Just supply the
   delay, after how many seconds CapiTel will pick up the call, and the
   EAZ list. Incoming calls will be shown on the screen, and the caller's
   text will be saved into *.WAV files. They can be found in the CapiTel
   main directory. Use MMPM/2 to play them.


  Registration:

   This ALPHA version is free. The final release will become Shareware, we
   did not decide about the price yet.
