MAIN MENU COMMANDS: ------------------- BELL: The Bell option toggles the beep heard when a user moves from one menu to another. This does not have any effect on the ALARM system bell. When the Bell menu entry has a + behind it, the move bell is active. When a - follows the option, the bell is disabled. PAGE: The Page option activates the PAGE menu. This menu has other menu options for communicating to other lines. REDRAW: This option is for repainting the SYSMON screen should it become interrupted by someother system function. WATCH: The Watch option brings up the WATCH menu. This menu contains other menu options for setting WATCH alarms for other users logons and user profiling. TIME ON: Time on shows you how log you have been on the system and your time remaining, and if you have netmail credits, how many credits you have remaining. ABORT: The Abort option well take you out of SYSMON and back to the BBS. Abort from any other menu in SYSMON will return you to the previous sysmon menu. MENUS: The Menus option will display to columns of entries that your sysop has set up that will take you directly from SYSMON to another part of the BBS and return you back to SYSMON when you return from that area. OV: Overview will display a system line status display at the bottom of the SYSMON display area. Some Telecommunications software cannot display the control codes that are used for the display characters. But Telix(tm) can display this codes as well as QMODEM (tm). PAGING AREA COMMANDS: --------------------- PAGING AREA: The paging area option allows you to drop to the paging area where you can send private messages to other lines, go into private chat with another line or enter a CB Channel. By entering /H in the paging area, additional help can be displayed on the use of this area. Enter /Q to return to SYSMON from the paging area. SYSMON CHAT: Sysmon Chat allows in to chat with others that are in SYSMON. Just type in your message and press enter. To leave SYSMONCHAT, enter /Q. ABORT: Returns you to the MAIN SYSMON menu. IGNORE: The Ignore option allows you to prevent other lines from sending you messages. This is useful when in ZOOM mode. When a + follows the IGNORE option you are not available for private messages, when a - follows the option, you can receive private messages. WATCH MENU COMMANDS: -------------------- LIST: The list option will display the users that you have entered into your alarm list. ENTER: This option will allow you to ENTER up to 10 other users that you want to be notified of when they logon. Simply enter up to 10 other users then you will be prompted to either press S or P. S will save the entries only for the current SYSMON session, when you leave SYSMON the entries will vanish. Press P to save the entries to your alarm profile. USAGE GRAPH: This option will display a graphic bar chart of the system hourly call usage. MENUS MENU COMMANDS: The Menus option will display a 2 columned menu that your sysop has set up to allow access to other parts of the BBS directly from SYSMON. Enter the number of the menu entry you wish to execute. When you return from that entry you well come back to SYSMON. GLOBAL MENU COMMANDS: --------------------- ZOOM: The Zoom option allows you to toggle between 17 line display and 35 line display. PANEL 1234: By press either 1,2,3 or 4 you can view the lines that are not displayed in the currently displayed line panel. This will work even when in ZOOM mode. LEFT OR RIGHT ARROW KEYS: When you press either the left or right arrow keys, the overview status line will appear. The next panel left or right of the currently displayed panel will be highligted. By using the arrow keys you may highlight a panel and press enter to make that panel the currently active panel.
