Easy SFX is the first system to combine self extraction with a sensible installation program. When you create an SFX file with Easy SFX you can pack any directory structure and this will be reproduced when the SFX is run. You can force the installation to a fixed main directory name or you can supply a default which the user can change. You can supply a readme.txt file and the SFX will display it after extraction. You can even have the SFX file start your program after extraction. Throughout the extraction process the SFX file displays an installation screen customized with your company name. There is no script language to learn - just tell Easy SFX where your program files are for packing and the name and location for the SFX file. The parameters used for each SFX file you make are recorded in a data file. Any remakes of the same file are simply a case of choosing the program name from the list of previous builds. If you need to distribute self installing software, Easy SFX will save you hours of work.
