                 YOU CAN RUN BUT YOU CAN'T HIDE

     "So, Hillary done what?" asked Ruby.
     "Lied, I believe," said Del.
     "Says who?" Ruby asked.
     "Well, it's pretty widely believed. Safire called her a
congenital liar, didn't he?"
     "Since when is he an authority?" asked Ruby. "He never told
a fib?"
     "If so, I don't think he was in office when he did so," said
Del.
     "So it's okay if he tells a fib 'cause he ain't elected to
nothin', including authority?" asked Ruby.
     "No," said Del.
     "And seein' as how everybody tells a fib sometime, you'll
agree that he probably has?" Ruby asked.
     "Sure," said Del.
     "So now we got us a big-mouth hypocrite, who ain't elected but
thinks he's some kind'a authority, am I right?" asked Ruby.
     "I guess so," said Del.
     "Don't need him," Ruby decreed. "We already got Rush."
