Solution

   + The key to this challenge is to notice the order in which the soldiers
     appear. Each pair you shoot must include a white soldier and a red
     soldier. They appear on the game board in an alternating order. You
     will observe that first a white soldier appears, then a red one. As
     you remember the order of appearance, you will know which soldier to
     take aim at.
