Original ASCII file created by Bill Wall, and then
archived at Steve Mayer's WWW site:

as "oldgames.zip".  oldgames.zip also has some games
from the 1960's, but they are not included in this
file.

PGN file created by Gordon Taylor, then converted to
CB file pgn2cb.exe.  Conversion to CA by Doug Attig
using pgn2ca.exe.

Note that ChessBase will not display years prior to
1700.  To find the year for any game played before
1700 refer to the PGN file or to the original source
text: Oxford Encyclopedia of Chess Games, Volume 1,
1485-1866; edited by David Levy and Kevin O'Connell.
