     intro.txt - Informations About This Package


Shareware
     This  program  package  is a shareware, written by and copy-
     righted by horio shoichi.

     You can evaluate this package for one month.   Beyond  that,
     you must either terminate using or must pay the registration
     fee.  See reginfo.txt for more details.

     Each of "*.txt" file is formatted in plain ascii, 80 columns
     by 60 lines.

     All  "*.exe" files are self contained and fully operational;
     this package is not a "demo" version.

  Programs
     Ccdisk.exe
          A reentrant  SCSI  disk  driver  under  DOS.  It  works
          closely  with  concache.exe.   There is no command line
          change from v1.00.

     Concache.exe
          The disk cache  program  to  drive  disks  concurrently
          under  DOS.   The  command line description has changes

          from   v1.00.    See   concache.txt,   intro.txt,   and
          eqanda.txt.

     Floppies.exe
          The  minidriver  to  relocate floppy accesses from DOS.
          An option to load itself into  upper  memory  block  is
          added to command line from v1.00.

     Pause.exe
          The  program  to read DOS startup screen easily.  There
          is no command line change from v1.00.

     There is a "*.txt" file for each of "*.exe" file which fully
     explains  the  program.  These obvious files are not enumer-
     ated below section.

  Text Files
     Overview.txt
          Describes a brief  overview,  installation,  and  known
          incompatibilities.

     Eqanda.txt
          In depth discussions about user interface and interface
          problems.  Read this if the other manual  is  felt  too
          terse, or if you get just curious.

     Message.txt
          Explains  help messages and the other startup messages.

     Reginfo.txt
          The registration informations  for  prices,  terms  and
          conditions,  and registration procedures are described.
          Must be read if you continue to use this package.

History
     v1.10
          This  package  is for concache.exe internal reorganiza-
          tions. The results are less  bugs,  faster  executions,
          more  stable startup and more compatibilities.  Preread
          is now functional, some options were made built-in.   A
          few  command  line  parameters  for  concache.exe  were
          changed.  The previous version,  v1.00,  was,  as  seen
          from this version, at best an experiment.  Finally, the
          core algorithm is now patent pending.


     also v1.00
          This package corrects the omissions and inconsistencies
          of  documents  found  in  the initial release. No *.exe
          changes. However, the whole repackaging is done.


     v1.00
          This package  is  the  first  public  release  of  con-
          cache.exe.
