FOLDER MANAGER V1.2

This program offers the following facilities:-

* you can scan folders and drives to create snapshots.

* these snapshots can then be searched:-
	- to find duplicates.
	- to find folders which can be automatically opened.
	- to look for changes in the directory structure and content (eg. new folders etc.)
	- to analyse how space is allocated on your disk.

The general approach is to generate snapshots, and then to use them to make reports.  You can print out the reports.

TO AUTOMATICALLY SEARCH FOR AND OPEN FOLDERS:-
1. Scan your hard-drives by creating a new snapshot.  The snapshot can include files + folders.  A dialog will be displayed when the scan is complete.
2. Save your snapshot and make it the default file.
3. Type part of the name of a folder or file and hit return.  Folder Manager searches for the text.  If it matches a folder, then it opens it.  If it matches a file, it opens the folder that contains it.
Type find again to get the next match.

TO LOOK FOR DUPLICATE FILES.
1. Create a snapshot of the target folders or drive.  Save it.
2. Create a report using file new.
3. Select the duplicates option.

TO ANALYSE DISK SPACE.
1. Create a snapshot of the target folders or drive.  Save it.
2. Create a report using file new.
3. Select the space allocation option.

TO MAKE A COMPARISON.
1. Make a snapshot of a particular folder or folders.
2. Make whatever changes.
3. Make a new snapshot, and load both snapshots.
4. Create a new report using file new.  Select comparison.
5. Select the different snapshots in turn as prompted.
6. The report is generated, and may be printed out.

SNAPSHOT VIEW
When you load a snapshot, it is loaded into a tree view window.  You can move and down the tree as you wish.  If you click an entry, it will open an explorer window for that folder.

REGISTRATION.
You can use this program 50 times before it expires.  If you register, you'll get an unlimited version that runs as many times as you want.  You also get technical support, and free updates for v1.x.  E-mail me at JohnM000@aol.com for an address to send a cheque to.  When I get the cheque, I'll email you the latest version, or post it in a jiffy bag for an extra £2.  The price in dollars is $10.
