Introduction:

   DiskCat is a shareware disk catalog program for archiving your diskettes,
   CD-ROM's, audio CDs, hardisks, lan drives and magneto-optical disks.

   supported features:

   -  archive of disk/file informations into database
   -  searching the database for files and audio titles
   -  print reports
   -  import of audio cd titles from PMDCAT format
   -  automatic detection of drive types

   There is currently no detailed online help available, but you can see a
   short  description of the  buttons in the  titlebar of the  program. To
   select a context menu press the right mouse button.
   The first window holds the cataloged disks while the second window shows
   the files  for the curently selected disk. In the third window  you can
   type comments for the selected disk.

Installation:

   Feel free to use the included install procedure which creates a directory
   and program  object. Or copy all  files into one  directory and  create a
   program object by your own.


Registration:

   This program is shareware so you can use it free for 30 days. Usage of the
   program after this trial  period requires a registration. The registration

   Credit cards are not accepted at this time. Please don't forget your name,
   address and  EMAIL address (if you have one) or  FAX number to receive the
   registration key. After you got it you must enter it with your name in the
   registration panel. This key is valid for all versions 1.x of this program.
