A: No, there is not. You will have to have an access to the Usenet news to read news:comp.lang.pascal.borland. As far as I know the same goes for all the other pascal newsgroups except for news:comp.lang.pascal.misc. -------------------------------------------------------------------- From ts@uwasa.fi Sat Apr 20 01:00:03 1996 Subject: Bounces from comp.lang.pascal.misc 3. ***** Q: How can I prevent bounces from the comp.lang.pascal.misc list? A: The problem with Usenet newsgroups that also are mailing lists (as comp.lang.pascal.misc is) is that if someone has an invalid address on the mailing list this can cause you to get email bounces as a result of postings you make to that newsgroup. It is up to the relevant postmasters to take care of the problem. You'll have to inform them if the situation persists. The attached posting gives additional information about what to do. -From fsbrn@ARL.MIL Thu Apr 4 07:11:09 EET DST 1996 -Newsgroups: comp.lang.pascal.misc -From: Pascal Postman -Subject: Re: INFO-PASCAL@army.mil -Organization: U.S. Army Research Lab (ARL), APG, MD. -Date: Wed, 3 Apr 1996 16:34:10 GMT A comp.lang.pascal.misc poster wrote: > Any way I can stop e-mail messages getting bounced back at me from > the comp.lang.pascal.misc mailing list site that runs in here? Like Timo said, send me a bounced message so I can see the mail headers. Bounced mail is *supposed* to go to me, not the original sender, and believe me, I got a lot of that. Last week someone did send me a bounced message, and I removed the offending address from the mailing list. If you don't tell me about it, I can't fix it. dsw, fferd Fred S.
