FreeDock v3.0 FEB 96 ============= ------ Brief README, please read FREEDOCK.DOC for more details. What is FreeDock ? ================== Freedock is another Windows dock program, the difference between this one and all the other dock programs I have seen, are that you get the source code & this one does everything I want it to do. If it does not do everything you want it to do, feel free to modify it and add functionality to it. What's new since v2.00 ? ======================== The biggest change is that you can now have Sub-Docks. Next biggest change is that there is now a "proper" manual, this is in the file DOCK_DOC.ZIP, it contains Word 6.0 & Windows Write versions. Multiple instances of FreeDock can now run at the same time. NT Shutdown/Logoff/Reboot options supported. Auto import of previous .INI files (WIN32 version only) Freedock ported to Windows NT as well as 16 bit windows, now supplied in 16 & 32 bit versions. Applications in the dock can now be started as "Always On Top" Code ported to Microsoft Visual C (v1.5 for 16bit & v2.0 for 32bit) mostly minor changes. The method for Grabbing a window has been changed to support NT. A Previewer is now provided to allow the stored window size/position for an application to be viewed and changed without having to start the application. Easier to add applications to the slot by filling out a blank slot by hand, instead of dragging an application to it. If you prefer this method. The entire dock can be scaled to a size which suits the user, from double size down to 1/8th size. Applications in the dock can now be started in "Separate Memory" (NT only).
