GammaCAD PRO 2.02  (06 MAR 96)


GammaCAD PRO is a full featured CAD program for Windows 3.1 or
later.  Use it to design an addition to your house, create a
circuit diagram, graphs, charts, maps, landscaping, and much more.  
Features include: symbol libraries, DXF import/export, layers, 
grids, element snaps, dimensioning, architectural numbers (ft/in),
multi-level undo. Creates scaled printouts/plots with automatic 
page setup.  On-line tutorials and examples get you up and running
in no time.


Installing GammaCAD PRO

Uninstalling the Evaluation Version of GammaCAD PRO 2.00
--------------------------------------------------------

Double click on the Program Manager group containing the evaluation
version of GammaCAD PRO (usually "GammaCAD PRO").  Click on the 
first icon in the group and press the delete key.  The program 
will ask you if you are sure you want to delete the item.  Press 
the "Yes" button.  Do this for each icon in the group.  Press the 
delete key one more time and press the "Yes" button to delete the 
group itself.

Use the File Manager program (located in the "Main" group of 
Program Manager) to delete the files and directory containing this
version of the program (e.g. c:\gcadp).  Make sure you do not 
delete any drawing files (*.gc1 and *.sym) you wish to keep.  See
your Windows manual for more information on using File Manager.

Error Messages
--------------

File Error: Cannot find CTL3DV2.DLL

  This file comes with Windows but is sometimes missing on some
  systems for whatever reason.  Issue the following command at
  a DOS prompt to copy it to the proper directory.

    copy c:\gcadp\ctl3d c:\windows\system\ctl3dv2.dll

  Replace "c:\gcadp" with the directory containing the GammaCAD 
  files.  Replace "c:\windows" with the path to your Windows 
  directory.

  After installation, you can control the use of the 3d control
  library (ctl3dv2.dll) by adding the following line to the file 
  \windows\gammacad.ini.

     3DControls=off

  This causes the program to not load the 3D control library and 
  you will not get 3d controls in the program dialogs but the 2d 
  versions have all the same functionality.  The following line
  will turn 3d controls on.

     3DControls=on
  
  This only affects the use of 3d controls in GammaCAD.
