Welcome to WinRAR, the RAR Archiver v2.00 for Windows 95 and Windows NT !


     This is a signal beta version of RAR 2.00 for Windows. It is
     implemented as 32-bit application and actually runs under
     Windows 95, Windows NT or Windows 3.1 with Win32 support installed.

     It is archive-compatible with other branches of the RAR archiver:
     RAR 2.00 for DOS, OS/2 and a number of UNIXes.

     This archive contains following files:

     WINRAR.EXE   - RAR executable module - includes functionality of
                    graphical shell with standard Windows interface and
                    command line mode;
     WINRAR.HLP   - WinRAR help file;
     RAR.EXE      - Console RAR executable - command line mode only;
     UNRAR.EXE    - The FREE utility to process RAR archives
     RARFILES.LST - A file order list for solid archiving
     README.TXT   - This file.

     This version of RAR IS tested, but it MAY contain bugs.
     Only for your evaluation and testing purposes. It is generaly
     a good idea to test just created archive.
