LICENSE AGREEMENT

This software is provided to you subject to the terms and conditions of
this agreement.  In the event that you cannot accept these terms and
agreements, you may not use the WhizPad on the BBS.

Version 1.00 of WhizPad is dated March 10, 1992 

1.  LICENSE:  You are granted a nonexclusive license to use the enclosed
product subject to the terms and restrictions set forth in this
agreement.

2.  DISCLAIMER:  By using this software package, you agree to take full
responsibility for any damage, loss of property and/or data, or injury. 

3. COPYRIGHT:  This software, including this manual, may be copied and
reproduced, provided that all copyright notices contained here in are
left intact.  Otherwise, this software, including the manual for it, may
not be reproduced nor copied, in whole or in part, without the express
written consent of the Author.  Under the law, copying includes
translating into different languages.  You are also forbidden to use
segments of this software, whether in whole or in part, in your programs
without the express written consent of Patrick Lam.

4. DISTRIBUTION:  This software, including this manual, may be uploaded
to any information service, provided that no fee for distribution is
undertaken.  Exceptions to this rule are long distance or information
service connection charges or the cost of the diskette containing this
software.  This software may not be distributed nor sold for profit by
anyone, other than the Author.  Selling for profit includes (but is not
limited to) commercial distribution or charging the recipient of this
software for any cost other than that for a diskette.

5. SHAREWARE:  This software is shareware.  That means that although the
program works completely without registering, you must register the
program if you use the WhizPad regularly on your BBS.
