REQUIREMENTS: _____________ BRUN45.EXE Runtime File (This is Needed For The Program to Run) CGA Monitor (sysop end only, MONO ok on remote providing remote user receives ansi) IBM XT/AT/386 This program will run on the following BBS systems. Wildcat 2.X and 3.0, Gap v4.0 and greater, and Pcboard v14.0 or greater, and also works on Wildcat 2.xx versions. For other BBS's not mention there are many utilities out there to help with conversions. Also supports Desqview. INSTALLATION OF THE DOOR: _________________________ USING THE INSTALL PROGRAM: __________________________ I have made a program called install that will automatically make the BJ.CFG file needed to run the program. WILDCAT 2.5 and DORINFO1.DEF SETUP: ___________________________________ I will show you the how to have Black Jack setup on a WILDCAT 2.x . Very easy to do it is just like any other door. 1. First create a directory for the program and place all the files in that directory. C:\WILDCAT\DOOR\BJ 2. Now that we have done that we will now edit the BJ.CFG file to meet your needs. Line one is the path to your door, which should be the same path as above. Line two is the name of your BBS Line three MUST have a 0 (zero) on this line. Line four is your name that you use on your BBS. Line five is where you specify if you are running at lock baud or not. If you are running lock baud then enter the baud rate....ie 19200 or 9600 or 38400. Enter 0 for none. Line six is where you let the game know if it should allow doubledown features and when. Line seven is where you tell if you want the Black Jack Screen to display in the background. Line 8 is where you will specify what the ANSI file path and name will be. Line 9 is where you will specify what the ASCII file path and name will be. Okay here is what the whole thing should look like after you finish. C:\WILDCAT\DOOR\BJ The Lighthouse BBS 0 Danny Davis 19200 or 0 for none 0,1, or 2 0 or 1 C:\WILDCAT\BULL\BULL1.ANS C:\WILDCAT\BULL\BULL1.ASC 3. Okay now lets look at are batch file to start the game. door#.bat cd\wildcat\door\BJ copy c:\wildcat\callinfo.bbs 'or DORINFO1.DEF BJ /W 'or a /D for DORINFO1 cd\wildcat cat Okay you noticed that the Callinfo.bbs has to be copied to the game path. If it doesn't fine the Callinfo.bbs file then it will exit back to the BBS. Also the start up command is BJ /W for WILDCAT!... DORINFO1 BBS's: _______________ In place of the /W you will use the /D option. Plus you will copy the DORINFO1.DEF instead of a CALLINFO.BBS. Wildcat 3.0 ----------- This will run the same as above except of coping the callinfo.bbs you'll copy the DOOR.SYS file. Also you need not to put the /W command. Gap and Pcboard: ________________ 1.
