Welcome!!

This BBS system is owned and operated by US Sprint to provide dedicated support 
for users of PC Pursuit service.  There is no additional cost for using this
BBS, but we ask that you register (use option Q from the main menu) so we will
know who you are.  We encourage you to call this BBS often, and share your
PC-Pursuit discoveries!

The Net Exchange is connected to Sprint's PDN via a 19.2 KB X.25 line which is 
currently configured to handle 20 simultaneous virtual connections.

The items you will regularly find covered on this BBS include:

  1) User tips/comments to other users

  2) A copy of the PC Pursuit User Guide

  3) User suggestions, questions and answers to/from Sprint 

  4) Technical support from Sprint and other users

  5) Explanation of enhancements to PC Pursuit

  6) Comm program script files and other files that will make
     your use of PC Pursuit more productive and enjoyable.


The Sysop and other PC Pursuit administrative personnel will respond to
messages on this BBS at least once or twice each week.

Questionnaires are available for registered users to:

   - submit requests for new Outdial Cities or new services to the Outdial
	Services Manager
   - submit change of customer information (name, address, phone numbers)
	to Billing

If you've registered in the past, have found your name on the list of 
registered users, but can't remember your password, please fill out
questionnaire 1 again and indicate that it's a password change.

Some message areas are coordinated by individuals other than the Sysop.        
Please remember to send messages regarding administrative issues to the
appropriate coordinator.

BBS Rules and guidelines:

    -  Do not leave messages advertising BBS in any message area other
       than the BBS message area.  They will be deleted.
    -  Aliases are *not* used on this BBS except when they are plainly for
       official Sprint departmental use (e.g., Billing Dept)
    -  Do not leave public messages with restricted information (i.e.,
       credit card numbers, access numbers, etc.)  These will be deleted
       and you WILL face official charges.  [don't confuse this with
       answering our questionnaires or registering for PC Pursuit service.
       We maintain credit card numbers and PC Pursuit IDs in strict
       confidence]
    -  Do not upload proprietary software to this BBS.  It will be deleted.
    -  Do not leave abusive messages.  Excessively abusive messages may
       be grounds for filing criminal charges.
    -  No messages with competitor's addresses or phone numbers will be
       tolerated.
    -  Messages in some message areas should be directed to the
       coordinator for that area and should pertain to the subject area of
       the message base.  Messages which do not follow these guidelines may
       be deleted.  These message areas are:  billing (address to Billing
       Dept) and prod (address to Prod Management).

Failure to follow these rules can result in removal of messages, suspension
of your privileges on this BBS, suspension of your PC Pursuit account, and/or
criminal prosecution.

As you leave messages on this BBS, please remember that this system is
not intended as an electronic mail service - messages entered here (whether
public or private) can be read by the sender, the receiver, the sysop(s), and
the message area manager (if applicable).  Messages which do not follow the
above rules (whether public or private) may result in deletion of the message
as well as disciplinary action.
