Where do I start looking? If these "assumptions" apply to you, this might be your answer. IF your is some flavor of HST, and is configured to default to 2400 like mine is (with AT&M0 in NVRAM), and IF you don't have the proper (or any) entries in FDSetup->Manager->Modem, that is the behavior you will get. The answer? Create a table in MODEM list this one: 1 MNP AT&M4| 2 H96 AT&M4| 3 MAX AT&M4| 4 PEP AT&M0X7| 5 V42 AT&M4| 6 V42B AT&M4| 7 V32 AT&M5B0| 8 V32B AT&M5B0| 9 HST AT&M5B1| This is what I use with a HST/DS. You would change the V32/V32b lines to AT&M4| I think, and drop the B1 from the HST line. Hope this helps. - dave --- * Origin: < Miami Amateur Computer Club BBS HST/V32b/V42b> (1:135/110)
